Mission:

The blue moon fund has been investing in the recovery of New Orleans since 2006. The fund has focused on supporting a variety of organizations and initiatives that support self-organization, and build the resilience of the city through various forms of ‘connective tissue’ across neighborhoods, sectors, and interests across the city and its region. Blue moon is a fund with international programs supporting biodiversity, alternative energy, and sustainable development. All programs support fostering resilience of the global ecosystem. Blue moon fund has also provided initial support to create The New Orleans Institute for Resilience and Innovation (www.theneworleansinstitute.org) to document the learnings in New Orleans, further collaborations and create communication vehicles to a wider audience.
